In-House Training
In-house courses quickly provide teams with know-how and confidence in a chosen subject.
Personal approach
We work closely with every client to establish goals and courses are customised to meet business objectives. We try to understand the needs of each person and organisation to structure teaching packages of real benefit.
Economic Value
For larger groups they are a cost-effective alternative to public seminars and provide increased convenience with participants spending less time out of the office.
Expert Teaching
The same highly experienced faculty that deliver the LFS public courses teaches in-house programmes.
At London Financial Studies we are able to attract prominent practitioners and academics, all of whom have a clear and thorough grasp of their subjects and wide practical experience. They are expert communicators with the ability to impart their knowledge in a clear and engaging way.
Practical application
High retention of course material is achieved by the use of detailed practical exercises delivered in electronic form. These are available to course participants for use and further study after the programme.
A typical course includes 50% of classroom time spent on practical exercises and applications based on spreadsheets or other industry standard software.
Through LFSLearning, our course management system, all of the pre and post course material including exercise answers is available on line for at least a year after a programme.
Assessment
Assessment of course participants is available by using a number of different methods. These range from classic exams completed under invigilation, to on-line quizzes where participants complete a series of multiple choice questions and receive the answers immediately.
Administration and Systems
LFSLearning, our course management system, helps participants and administrators:
- Pre and post course material is delivered to participants electronically.
- Course exercises are available to participants.
- Participants can up and download their own work and share with others on the same course.
- A detailed report on course assessment and feedback is provided to the client after each session.
- A course forum is available for participants to interact with their colleagues and faculty.
- If required participants can register themselves onto a course thereby saving administrative time.
We approached LFS to run a bespoke course
for a new product structure we
were developing and they delivered exactly what was required which
was invaluable."
