Program Advisor - New York
 

As a program advisor the successful candidate will:

  • Advise on and sell specialized capital markets classes by telephone to professionals in financial institutions worldwide, with focus on USA/Canada market
  • Follow up on leads generated by the marketing team and close sales according to targets
  • Build relationships with existing clients and new prospects
  • Develop a good working knowledge of the products being sold
  • Fully understand and observe the LFS brand guidelines and ethos
  • Be part of a small team reporting to the director

Applicants should have the following:

  • A high degree of motivation and a positive self image
  • Sales experience (formal sales training is preferred)
  • Fluent written and spoken English and a professional telephone manner
  • The ability to grasp new information, methods and procedures quickly
  • A methodical approach to work
  • Experience of financial institutions is a plus
  • A good academic background is desirable

Administrative Assistant
 

As an Administrative Assistant, the successful candidate will:

  • Organise teachers’ travel arrangements
  • Request  course material from teachers and ensure these are delivered within deadlines
  • Prepare course binders and other related material
  • Prepare feedback summaries, monitoring results and reporting to management
  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the office on a day-to-day basis, interacting with other teams
  • Research, negotiate prices and purchase from office suppliers

To be considered, you must have:

  • Administrative experience
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Equally important is your flexibility and initiative
  • A high degree of interpersonal skills
  • A professional image and the ability to work well in a small team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of using a CRM system, preferably Goldmine, would be of benefit
  • Experience of using Adobe Acrobat would also be an advantage
